Welcome to Nurtured & Navigated, a parenting blog for moms and parents who are navigating mental health challenges. As someone who has struggled with ADHD and postpartum depression, I understand how difficult it can be to parent while also taking care of your mental health. My goal is to provide resources, tips, and support for other parents who are going through similar struggles. Join me as we journey together to raise happy, healthy children while also prioritizing our own well-being.

All About Me

    I'm thrilled to share my personal journey and experiences with you. At 26 years old, my life is a beautiful tapestry woven with the love and laughter of my three amazing children, aged 2, 5, and 7. These little ones are my daily inspiration and the driving force behind everything I do. Parenthood has been a transformative and challenging adventure, one that has shaped me into the person I am today.​

    In addition to being a devoted mom, I share a wonderful life with my supportive husband, and together, we nurture both our family and our passion for floral design through our own flower shop. Floral designing is more than just a job for me; it's a form of artistic expression that allows me to immerse myself in creativity and create beauty from nature's gifts.​

​

    Yet, amid the joys and successes, my journey has been marked by its share of struggles. Each of my pregnancies was accompanied by the heavy fog of postpartum depression, a battle that demanded strength, resilience, and an unwavering determination to seek help and healing. These experiences have become an integral part of my story, shaping my empathy and compassion for those grappling with similar challenges.

 

    ​More recently, I've received a diagnosis of ADHD, a revelation that has shed light on various aspects of my life. Navigating life with ADHD is a process, and I'm in the midst of learning and adapting to new strategies that help me thrive. Through this platform, my hope is to create a nurturing and understanding space for individuals facing similar hurdles. I want to share what I've learned and continue to learn, offering insights, resources, and a sense of camaraderie to fellow parents and anyone dealing with ADHD.
